A Chris Funny

As some of you may know, Chris has never liked bread - breadsticks, pizza crust, OK, but not sliced bread of anykind. He's always "passed" on the Sacrament bread but has taken the tiniest piece he could find on the tray for the last several months. Last Sunday as we were getting in the car for Church, he ran back in the house and came out putting something in his scripture case. I didn't think anything about it until it came time for the Sacrament. As the bread tray came down our row he passed it on to Nick, opened up his scriptures, took out a Starburst and leaned over and whispered, "No bread, candy" and happily popped it into his mouth. Nick and Joey were laughing hysterically (reverently of course). Apparently he had been giving his Sacrament problem some thought and came up with a solution.

Best Friends

Conner, Tia, Addie, and I went to visit Jenni and baby Brindy (I hope I spelled her name right). Here are a few pics of the new best friends.

Costa Rica here we come!

We found out this week that Mitch won an award at work called "Peak Performer" - which means they're taking us to Costa Rica for a week!!! I am equal parts excited and anxiety-ridden about leaving my kids for that long. I'd love some advice from those of you who've done this before? I'm sorta freaking out! Help!

Debating with Jenna

On Sunday during church Jenna picked up a Friend magazine and found a picture of Elder Bednar.  She loudly exclaimed, "LOOK it is Bryce's dad!!!"  I told her it wasn't Bryce's dad and that it was Elder Bednar, but she would have not part of it and would NOT believe me no matter what and how often I told her.  So needless to say she thinks that Jay has been published in the Friend!  

      

I don't know, they kind of do look the same.  Maybe Jenna IS on to something!

Baby news

Just to let everyone know, they are inducing me tomorrow, Wednesday January 14th. Baby Brindy has been doing gymnastics in my stomach, but as of Monday she was head down. They want to get her out while she is facing the right direction. So, check back for pictures of the little bundle. We love you all! Thanks for your love and support. Wish us luck!

JOEY'S B-BALL

If you haven't had the chance to watch Joey this year your missing out. He is such a great basketball player and what's even better is I was able to be his seminary teacher last year and he is an even better young man. Your awesome Joe keep it up.
